Ms. Zahida Ispahani is a former Vice Chairperson of the UCEP Board of Governors and a distinguished business leader and philanthropist. She serves as a Director of M. M. Ispahani Limited and Ispahani Tea Limited and has been an Honorary Adviser to the Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital since 2001.
She began her career in education and contributed significantly to women’s empowerment, serving as Secretary of the UN Women’s Association in Bangladesh and as Founder Secretary and two-term President of the SAARC Women Association in Bangladesh.
Ms. Ispahani actively supports social causes, working with orphanages, trusts, and community organizations. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Punjab, Pakistan, and is the spouse of the late Mr. Mirza Ali Behrouze Ispahani, former Chairperson of M. M. Ispahani Group.
