Mr. Zaki Hasan
Zaki Hasan served as the Executive Director (ED) of UCEP Bangladesh from October 13, 2013, to January 5, 2016, and later as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from January 6, 2016, to April 15, 2017. He became the fifth Executive Director of UCEP Bangladesh, succeeding Brigadier General (Retd.) Aftab Uddin Ahmed upon his retirement.
Mr. Hasan holds two Master of Social Sciences (MSS) degrees—one in Anthropology and another in Development Studies—from the University of Dhaka. Additionally, he earned an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka.
Throughout his career, he has held key positions in various organizations, including Helen Keller International, IOCHMS, ActionAid, and Save the Children (UK & USA). Before joining UCEP Bangladesh, he served as the Country Director of Room to Read.
Mr. Hasan has traveled extensively and participated in numerous international meetings, seminars, and conferences, gaining diverse experiences. He is widely recognized both in Bangladesh and abroad for his comprehensive knowledge, leadership qualities, and contributions to voluntary social welfare activities.
After serving UCEP Bangladesh for over three years, he retired from the organization and later took on the role of Country Director at Nutrition International. Currently, he is based in Canada, where he continues his professional journey.
