Mr. Jitendra Lal Bhowmik joined UCEP in 2006 and currently serves as a member of the UCEP Board of Governors for the 2025-2026 term. He previously held the position of Vice President for two consecutive terms, from January 2017 to December 2018 and from January 2019 to December 2020.Mr. Bhowmik is the Managing Director of Shatarupa Group and the Chairman of Dhaka Progressive Lions Eye Hospital. Additionally, he serves as the Chairman of the UCEP Associate Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd (UAMCSL). His leadership and commitment to social causes continue to have a significant impact on the communities he serves.
