Mr. A. Q. Siddiqui has been associated with UCEP Bangladesh since 1999 and served as the Chairperson of the Board of Governors from 2017 to 2018. He holds an M.A. in Economics from the University of Dhaka and is a distinguished banker with extensive experience in both local and international financial institutions.
He has held key leadership roles, including Chairman of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Ltd. and Country Chief Representative of Habib Bank AG Zurich. He also served as Managing Director of Sonali Bank Ltd., Agrani Bank Ltd., and Palli Daridro Bimochon Foundation (PDBF), as well as Deputy Managing Director of Janata Bank Ltd. and Director of BRAC. His expertise and leadership have significantly shaped Bangladesh’s banking and financial landscape.
