UCEP Bangladesh observed the International Women’s Day 2020 on Sunday. The day was celebrated with various cultural performances focusing on women empowerment, role of women in our society and UCEP Bangladesh’s contribution in this respect.

Mr. K. M. Abdus Salam (Additional Secretary) Director General, NGO Affairs Bureau of Prime Minister’s Office attended as the Chief Guest, while Ms. Penny Morton, Deputy High Commissioner, Australian High Commission to Bangladesh was the Special Guest of the event. Mr. ASM Abdul Motin, Chairman, GRAM Limited, Mr. Jitendra Lal Bhowmik, Vice Chairperson of Board of Governors of UCEP Bangladesh and Ms. Tahsinah Ahmed, Executive Director of UCEP Bangladesh, along with high officials were also present. Thematic songs, choreography, drama, poem recitation and quiz competition were arranged by the students of UCEP Bangladesh to mark this special day.
