In regard to the best possible use of UCEP’s land at Outer Bypass Road, Sonadanga, Khulna, UCEP Bangladesh Management started to explore various commercial means utilizing the water body and considering the fact that there is a high demand of a Resort cum Convention centre in Khulna including residential facilities, venues for social and official events, indoor exhibition, training facilities and family outing recreational spot within the city.
It was also considered by the UCEP Management that eventually the project could be the centre for excellence in Hospitality and Tourism Management training in Bangladesh.
According to the need assessment, UCEP Bangladesh found that the city dwellers are facing significant deprivation of having good quality recreational facility, best quality accommodation, training and convention facilities. To mitigate those UCEP Management has decided to construct UCEP Resort and Convention Centre at Sonadanga, Khulna. This project will be convincingly income generating and the revenue will be used further for organizational development. Not only that this project will include training programme to develop human resource, city kids recreational centre as well as underprivileged children’s entertainment and recreation.
Proposed Components of the Project:

Another block for accommodation, which will also be known as hotel block, this block includes the following facilities:

- Guest rooms

- Gymnasium/health club
- Swimming pool
- Pool side café
