With an aim of contributing towards digital Bangladesh and skill-based society through underprivileged children and youth, UCEP Bangladesh signed an MoU with the Department of Information and Communication Technology under the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information on June 01, 2022.
Executive Director, UCEP Bangladesh and Former Principal Secretary to the Honorable Prime Minister Dr. Md. Abdul Karim was the Chief guest at the signing Ceremony and Mr. N. M Ziaul Alam PAA, Senior Secretary, ICT Division was the special guest. Mr. Rezaul Maksud Jahedi, Director General (In Charge), DoICT, presided over the event. Other high officials of DoICT and UCEP Bangladesh were also present. The Signing Ceremony has taken place at the DoICT’s Seminar Room at their Head Office.
This will give DoICT and UCEP an opportunity to work for the underprivileged children, persons with disabilities, and ethnic minority groups by establishing E-skills hub, ICT Based Training model, Digital Literacy for the UCEP Bangladesh family.
UCEP has long standing brand value on TVET and skills development sector in Bangladesh and will work for development of ICT human resources to meet the challenges of the fast-changing technology.
