UCEP Bangladesh proudly announces the restructuring and bifurcation of the organizational framework into two distinct entities, namely the UCEP Social Development Programme and the UCEP Social Enterprises Development from 1st January 2021.
It is a pleasure to have Mr. Md. Abdul Karim, the former Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister and Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Commerce, Fisheries and Livestock; Finance (Internal Resources Division) and Communications (Bridges Division), and the former Managing Director of the Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), as the Managing Director of UCEP Social Enterprise Development (SED). He is leading the UCEP Social Enterprise Development to provide necessary business acumen, increase the commercial viability and contribute to the sustainability of UCEP Bangladesh.
Mr. Didarul Anam Chowdhury, Acting Executive Director, Social Development Programme, UCEP Bangladesh, is leading the flagship Programme of the organization to serve annually more than 35,000 underprivileged children and youth with the moto help to learn,skills to earn! With a focus on Social Inclusion, the Social Development Programme(SDP) provides Second Chance Education and Decent Employment through Technical Vocational Education & Training (TVET), Entrepreneurship and Skills Development.
