To celebrate the National Environment Day, UCEP Pahartali Technical School arranged Tree Plantation Activity on its School Premises. We discussed about the importance of tree plantation in front of our students following social distance and hygiene. We distributed tree plants among our students & planted tree in our school premises.
Tree plantation in school premises is crucial for fostering environmental awareness among students while enhancing the overall learning environment. It improves air quality by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, creating a healthier atmosphere for learning. The shade provided by trees helps regulate temperatures, making outdoor spaces more comfortable and reducing energy costs. Additionally, green spaces beautify the school grounds, support local biodiversity by attracting various species, and provide students with opportunities for hands-on ecological education. Engaging in tree planting instills a sense of responsibility and community involvement, promoting lifelong values of environmental stewardship. Moreover, the mental health benefits associated with access to nature, combined with the role of trees in combating climate change, underscore the importance of this initiative in shaping a sustainable future for students and their communities.
