On February 15th, 2024, UCEP Bangladesh had the pleasure of hosting delegates from the High Commission of Canada to Bangladesh. The delegation consisted of Ms. France-Carole Duchesneau, First Secretary – Development (Education & Skills), Ms. Isabelle Jetté, Environmental Specialist, HQ, Global Affairs Canada, and Mr. AHM Mohiuddin, Education and Technical Skill Specialist, FSSP, Global Affairs Canada.
The delegates met UCEP Bangladesh’s Executive Director, Md. Abdul Karim, PhD, along with the Senior Management Team and other senior officials. The meeting provided in-depth insights into UCEP Bangladesh’s various programs and initiatives aimed at promoting education and vocational training among underprivileged youth in the country. The delegation was presented with detailed information on these initiatives, which underscore the organization’s unwavering commitment to empowering youth and promoting sustainable development.
They also visited the UCEP Mirpur TVET Institute, the UCEP Shah Ali Bagh Technical School, and the UCEP Institute of Science and Technology. They interacted with trainees from various trades and observed their training sessions.
