Historic education is about the sacrifice students made on September 17, 1962 while protesting against the SM Sharif-led Education Commission. On that day, three students — Mostafa, Babul and Wajiullah — were killed in police firing when they were protesting against the SM Sharif-led Education Commission following publication of its report.  

The 38th death anniversary (Cheney Day) of Lindsey Allan Cheyney, the founder of UCEP Bangladesh, was observed at UCEP.
