Dhaka, November 4, 2024 – UCEP Bangladesh commemorated the 93rd birth anniversary of its founder, Lindsay Allan Cheyne, through a heartfelt celebration at the organization’s Head Office in Mirpur-2, Dhaka. The event, chaired by the Chairperson Dr. Mohammad Alauddin, brought together esteemed guests, UCEP staff, and students to honor Mr. Cheyne’s lifelong dedication to uplifting underprivileged children and advancing technical education in Bangladesh.
In his tribute, the Executive Director of UCEP Bangladesh reflected on the far-reaching legacy of Mr. Cheyne, whose founding vision in 1972 laid the foundation for the UCEP’s transformation into a powerhouse of technical and vocational education.
