| KiK UCEP Ghashitola Technical School celebrated ‘Pahela Boishakh 1431’, the first day of the Bangla Calendar, by organizing various activities on the campus in Ghashitola, Sylhet on Sunday. The daylong event started with a rally. Around 40 students participated in the event. After that, the wall magazine of Baisakhi was unveiled. After a discussion session, finish with the cultural program. Md Shah Alam (Instructor, Foundational Skill) said, ‘I am happy that we have been able to celebrate the festival of the life of Bengalis, Pahela Baishakh with joy, exhilaration, and excitement. KiK UCEP Ghashitola Technical School has always celebrated all kinds of Bengali festivals in a festive atmosphere under the patronage of Bengali culture.’ Md. Salman Khan (Assistant Instructor, Foundational Skill) said, ‘An identity that we have as Bengalis, Bengali culture, Bengali language, everything is revealed by Pahela Boishakh. I like Pahela Boishakh because we all celebrate this festival together.’ |
