A K Khan-UCEP Private Polytechnic Institute, a joint venture of UCEP Bangladesh & AK Khan Foundation was affiliated by BTEB in September 2020. It has Bangabandhu and Bangamata Corners.
The vision of AKKUPPI is to become a ‘Center of Excellence in Higher Technical Education’, with emphasis on science and technology. The Institute will explore technologies on Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Augmented Reality and gradually integrate these subjects in its curriculum to fate the changes of 4IR.

Technologies
AKKUPPI has currently two technologies, offering 4-years Diploma-in-Engineering degree. These are: 1. Electrical Technology 2. Computer Technology.
The Institute plans to introduce interdisciplinary program on Information Technology and Innovation Management in future. The Institute also plans to apply for Mechanical Tech, Civil Tech, Automobile Tech, Textile Eng., Computer Science and Technology, Marine Eng. etc.
Value Addition
The learning process will be coupled with soft skills courses to enhance students’ employability skills.
Options for international exchange program.
Special interdisciplinary programs, such as Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences (GSAS), Design, Innovation and Society (DIS), Minds & Machines and Product Design and Innovation (PDI) etc.

Current Activities
Pre-engineering courses (Fundamental courses): Additional courses of AKKUPPI to build students foundation to learn engineering education easily as Basic Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Computer fundamentals and Soft Skill have been started from 11 November 2020.
Formal classes as per BTEB’s instruction started since 3 January 2021 using on online platform (Zoom).
Robotics & Code Club: AKKUPPI Robotics & Code Club has been started from 10 January 2021. The club members were selected through an online competitive examination.
Science & Innovation Club: Science & Innovation Club started its activity since 15 February 2020. An Online exam was taken to select the members.
Practical Class: Practical classes have been started on Computer Fundamental from 10 January 2021
Events
AKKUPPI celebrate all national and international days with due importance, i.e., Victory day, International Mother Language day, National Children Day, Independence Day etc.
AKKUPPI arranges Essay Competition, Handwriting Competition, Quiz, Drawing Competition etc. on regular basis.
